Samsung is undoubtedly one of the world’s leading brands in display making. Just before the CES 2020 show, the company unveiled two G9 and G7 displays that are offered under the Odyssey brand.
The G9 is a flagship and very large option with a 49-inch 1000R curve panel. The display has Dual Quad High-Definition resolution and 5120 * 1440 pixels resolution. Other features such as 240 Hz refresh rate, 1 millisecond response time, and 32: 9 aspect ratio should also be mentioned. The monitor also received TÜV approval. Its brightness also reaches 1,000 candela per square meter, which is not surprising given its high resolution.
Stylish and exciting Odyssey series monitors
In the Samsung design debate, the stone is finished and we can see a beautifully glossy white body design on the G9. One of the milestones of this display is the luminous section at the back of the screen and playable in different colors.
In addition to the flagship G9, Samsung unveiled the G7 in two 32-inch and 27-inch models. These models come with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, 16: 9 aspect ratio, HDR600 panel, and a brightness of 600 candelabrasimeters. Unlike the G9, the G7 comes in a matte black with the same G9 design.
Both monitor models support NVIDIA G-SYNC and Adaptive Sync on DP1.4 technology for gamers to see the high resolution and high speed of movement alongside these displays. Samsung plans to launch the G9 and G7 monitors in the second quarter of 2020, though details on pricing remain unclear.
Samsung is expected to unveil new laptops from Odyssey at CES 2020.
